Another installment of the series of platform games. The predecessor of this title, Bubsy 3D, which is considered one of the worst platform games ever, debuted in 1996. Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back was developed by Black Forest Games and published by Accolade, a company that returned to life after being inactive for seventeen years. The player assumes the role of the titular lynx that starts a dangerous journey in order to find the mythical Golden Fleece. Despite the fact that all pieces of the graphics are three-dimensional, the gameplay is based on mechanics from classic side-scrolling, two-dimensional platform games. During the game the player is traveling through colorful locations while avoiding traps and other dangers and facing various enemies, among whom there are powerful bosses. The title features large dose of humor – the protagonist can use more than one hundred new one-liners.
